HOTEL L'AIGLON – CHAMPOLUC, VAL D'AOSTA. SUMMER 2026

Wake up with Monte Rosa right in front of you: head out with your hiking boots on and come back with tired legs and a wide smile.

Hotel L'Aiglon 3-star in Champoluc – Summer Stay in Val d'Ayas
Opening period: 19 June 2026 – 26 September 2026

In Champoluc, at the heart of Val d'Ayas, L'Aiglon is the ideal base for those who want to experience the mountains for real: a Valdostan breakfast every morning, the SPA waiting on your return, 16 rooms with character, and a family-run atmosphere you can genuinely feel.

Board basis: bed & breakfast only · maximum freedom in the evenings: choose where to dine

At L'Aiglon our role is straightforward: to send you out each morning with the right energy and to have everything you need ready and waiting when you return. Breakfast with our Valdostan products, a tailored suggestion for your next trail, spacious rooms, and our small SPA open from the afternoon. The mountain does the rest — no queues, no formalities.

In summer, Champoluc at 1,600 metres in one of the widest and sunniest valleys in Valle d'Aosta is synonymous with freedom, away from the crowds: pure air, open meadows and trails that invite you to set off without rushing. Monte Rosa becomes a daily presence, luminous and reassuring.

Champoluc's village centre is right there: the main street in front of the entrance, the traditional restaurants, the shops, the ski lifts 350 metres away, and the summer itineraries. Everything within walking distance. And yet, the moment you step back inside, you find silence.

Central, yet peaceful. Rarely do you find both together.

Everything below is included in the price when you book direct. Zero surprises at check-out:

  • Accommodation in a 3-star hotel in the centre of Champoluc
  • Valdostan breakfast every morning, 7:30–10:00: local cheeses and cured meats, artisan jams, home-made cakes. The right fuel before every departure.
  • SPA included with direct bookings (charged at €5 per person per day on OTAs): daily 16:30–20:00 (sauna + hot tub, guests aged 14 and over). Exclusive private use by appointment: 15:00–16:30 or 20:00–21:00 · €30/hour
  • Free reserved parking for direct bookings only: only 10 spaces available (availability not guaranteed on OTAs, €10/day). If you book last-minute and spaces are full, we will point you to a good alternative. Over 7 nights: up to €140 saved — or rather, better spent (for 2 guests with SPA + parking included)
  • WiFi
And also:
  • 10% discount at our partner bike hire and outdoor equipment shop
  • 10% discount at MonterosaSPA and Terme di Saint‑Vincent
And above all:
  • Personalised orientation and recommendations tailored to your pace (hikes, mountain hut lunches, summer activities and weather)
  • Priority early check-in: book direct and you can request your room from 14:30 — we do our best and often succeed (OTA guests may check in from 16:00)
  • 12% discount on stays of 7 nights or more using code ABCVACANZE7+: the best way to enjoy the mountains without rushing.

[Book direct: SPA and parking included →] Not sure which room is right for you? Call us: +39 0125.308754 (9am–8pm) and we'll help you choose.
Free cancellation up to 6 days before arrival · Same price, but with SPA and parking included
July and August rooms fill up weeks in advance. If you already have dates in mind, it's worth checking availability now.

Every day can be different:
  • Trekking: the ancient Ru Courtot irrigation canal, the vivid blue Lago Blu at the foot of the glacier, the panoramic Laghi Pinter or Palasinaz. The ascent of Monte Zerbion, where views sweep from the Monte Rosa massif to the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc; the more demanding climb to Testa Grigia
  • Farm stays and local producers: La Tchavana, Goil, Alpe Corneuil — tasting zero-km products at source
  • Mountain refuges at mid or high altitude: Vieux Crest and Ferraro for your first outings; Grand Tournalin, reachable by mountain bike or off-road taxi. For the more experienced, refuges above 3,000 metres — Mezzalama, Delle Guide and Quintino Sella — are destinations worth the effort
  • Other activities: e-bike, rock climbing, horse riding, golf, yoga and much more
  • Walser culture and beyond: Mascognaz, Cuneaz, Soussun — just a few of Val d'Ayas's ancient alpine villages, each with centuries of history to discover

On your return, our SPA will be there waiting.

Our Rooms
Sixteen rooms. Not one like another. Every one with a view you won't expect.

L'Aiglon's rooms feature exposed wooden beams, solid alpine furnishings and a mountain soul softened by modern touches: USB-C sockets, kettles, Wi‑Fi, wall-mounted hairdryers, in-room safe, Smart TV and digital room access. The beds are larger than standard (90×200 cm) and fitted with double pillows and soft duvets because rest after a day in the mountains deserves proper space. Most rooms have a balcony.

Sixteen different solutions for sixteen different needs: from a double room with glacier view to the Family Superior with its own private entrance from the garden, sleeping up to six guests across two separate bedrooms with a private terrace.
