Val d'Ayas is full of easy routes connected to different farmhouses and shelters even at low altitudes that color, brighten and preserve our wonderful mountains. There are so many farms and shelters and they are all worth a visit, absolutely!
We have thought for you a minimum stay of 3 nights with 3 walking tours and 3 lunches based on local and genuine products.
- For the first day, we suggest a visit to the Alpe Corneuil farmhouse, in the Barmasc area, a super recommended destination for those coming to Ayas for the first time.
- The second day we go a little higher in altitude, on the opposite side: Rifugio Ferraro in Résy, starting from Frachey.
- For the third day, the Aurelio Vercellin farm in Mascognaz is worth a visit (this is where the Fontina you find at breakfast comes from!), a stroll and lunch at the Vieux Crest Refuge.
