JUNE IN CHAMPOLUC – EARLY SUMMER ON MONTE ROSA

Hotel L’Aiglon: central Champoluc base for early‑season hikes and quiet mountain days

Dates: 19 – 30 June 2026
Stay formula: Bed & Breakfast only (room + breakfast) · no in‑house restaurant · full freedom for dinner

June in Val d’Ayas is the month of discovery. Meadows turn green again, trails reopen gradually, and the mountains return to their natural rhythm—well before the peak‑season crowds.

Champoluc, an elegant village at the foot of Monte Rosa, is ideal for travellers who enjoy walking, exploring and taking their time. Hotel L’Aiglon, a 3‑star hotel in central Champoluc, is a quiet, practical base for early‑summer hikes, scenic walks and full days outdoors.

In June you can set off directly from the village or take advantage of the gradual lift openings to reach higher trails and shape a different itinerary each day. It’s the perfect time if you’re looking for space, light and empty paths—then a calm return in the evening to a well‑kept, restful place.

At Hotel L’Aiglon the rhythm stays simple: slow breakfasts, personal tips for routes and huts, and a small SPA break when you’re back.
